Dr Llorenia Muir‑Green is a respected consultant dermatologist with over a decade of clinical experience and a distinguished academic and professional background. She specialises in general dermatology, cosmetic skincare, and disorders of the hair and scalp, offering comprehensive care that bridges scientific insight with compassionate delivery.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI), Dr Muir‑Green first earned a double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry before completing her medical degree. She later pursued postgraduate training in Clinical Dermatology at Cardiff University, graduating with Distinction. In 2013, she was awarded a prestigious fellowship in Hair and Scalp Disorders at the University of British Columbia—solidifying her reputation in the field.
Her clinical interests include hair loss (alopecia), scalp inflammation, nail disorders, hyperpigmentation, acne, eczema, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to patient education and prevention, believing in the importance of empowering individuals through understanding their skin and hair health.

Dr Muir‑Green has been a speaker at major regional and international conferences, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the Caribbean Dermatology Association. She is also the founder of AskTheHairDoc.com, a digital platform and blog that simplifies the science of hair care for the Caribbean community and beyond.
Her philosophy of care is patient-first: combining attentive listening with evidence-based treatment, and always aiming to restore both skin health and confidence.
